California-licensed since 2013, with 4,000+ hands-on hours in Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and prenatal work. Rachel opened Stillwater in 2018 with one rule: every session gets the same care she'd give a family member.
She specializes in chronic neck and shoulder tension, low-back recovery, and gentle first-time sessions for clients who've never had a professional massage.

Answers before you book.
What should I expect on my first visit?
Arrive ten minutes early for a short intake: what hurts, what you want from the session, and any health notes. Your therapist checks in on pressure throughout, and you'll never be rushed out the door.
What should I wear?
Whatever is comfortable. You undress to your own comfort level and you're fully draped the entire session, with only the area being worked on uncovered.
What's your cancellation policy?
Life happens. Give us 24 hours' notice and there's no charge. Inside 24 hours we charge half the session, and no-shows are charged in full.
Can you work with pregnancy, injury, or first-time clients?
Yes to all three. Rachel is certified in prenatal massage, experienced with injury recovery alongside your provider's guidance, and gentle with first-timers. Say so when you book and the session is planned around it.
Where are you located and is there parking?
10123 Donner Pass Rd in downtown Truckee, with free dedicated parking directly behind the studio. The entrance is off the back lot.
